FLUIDLOK provides a comprehensive line of Integral Double Block & Bleed Valves to meet the most demanding requirements by clients in various environments. Our DBB valves find their application in various industries like oil and gas, chemical, refinery, power plant, etc. A DBB valve is a combination of 3 valves integrated in a single compact unit and eliminating the use of three different valves thereby reducing total weight and space, manufacturing cost and potential leak paths.
According to API 6D a double block and bleed valve is a "single valve with two seating surfaces that, in the closed position, provides a seal against pressure from both ends of the valve with a means of vending/bleeding the cavity between the seating surfaces."
We manufacture these valves using high-quality material such as stainless steel inspected and tested to International Standards in One-piece forged body or three-piece bolted body. Working pressure ranges from Class 150 to Class 2500, with temperature ratings from -50 to 400°F (- 46 to 204°C) in accordance with ASME B16.5 and sizes from 3/8" to 2" for full bore and reduced bore.
Our valves are 100% factory tested hydrostatically with respect to maximum allowable working pressure to a requirement of no visible leakage. Shell test is performed at 1.5 times the maximum rated working pressure and 1.1 times for a seat test in accordance with BS EN 12266-1 and API 598.
