Product Information

Application:

  • FLUIDLOK Purge Valves are designed for manually bleeding, venting or draining system fluid. The cap is crimmped to the valves body for safety in use.

Specifications:

  • Temperature rating for Stainless Steel is -65°F to 600°F (-54°C to 316°C), for Carbon Steel -20°F to 350°F (-29°C to 177°C) & for Brass -65°F to 400°F (-54°C to 204°C).
  • Pressure rating for Stainless Steel is 4000 psi (276 bar), for Carbon Steel & Brass is 3000 psi (207 bar).
  

Testing:

  • Valve is tested with nitrogen at 1000 psi for leakage at the seat, to maximum allowable leak rate of 0.1scc/min.

Caution:

  • Open valve slowly.
  • These valves do not have cap thread seal.
  • When the valves are open media may flow through the cap. Direct the vent hole away from the person operating to protected from the system fluid.
